The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) has received the official status of a "Partner of national projects" within the framework of the national award "Our Contribution". The initiatives "Children's Hospital without Pain" and "Development of industrial Tourism" became finalists of the competition due to their contribution to the implementation of the national projects "Healthcare" and "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry".
TMK presented four initiatives aimed at supporting health and childhood, as well as increasing the attractiveness of its regions of operation. Two of them were selected for the finals by the expert council.
The Children's Hospital without Pain project is implemented by the Sinara Corporate Charitable Foundation and is aimed at helping children through the use of modern low-traumatic technologies and advanced equipment, as well as creating comfortable conditions for staying in medical institutions with their parents. It covers several regions of TMK's presence, including the Volgograd, Rostov, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions.
The industrial tourism development project is designed to preserve the history of enterprises, create an industrial tourism infrastructure, increase the prestige of working professions and the attractiveness of TMK's regions of presence. The tourist infrastructure has been created at four TMK enterprises: Volzhsky Pipe (VTZ), Pervouralsky Novotrubny (PNTZ), Seversky Pipe (STZ) and Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling (ChelPipe) plants, while industrial tourism combines excursions to existing production facilities and visits to corporate museums. TMK enterprises participate in the Open Industry program implemented by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
