Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) participated in a meeting with applicants of the Institute of New Materials and Technologies (INMT) Ural Federal University (UrFU), in which future students discussed their career prospects with the director of the Institute and the largest employers. The young people were told about TMK's activities, social guarantees for employees, professional development and training, internship and internship opportunities, as well as a special scholarship established for INMT students.
Natalia Falkova, Chief Manager of the TMK2U Corporate University's Applied Research and Personnel Search Methodology Service, said at the event that starting in 2024, a scholarship of 15,000 rubles per month will be awarded to 200 students of the Institute of New Materials and Technologies who are successful in their studies. First-year students who have scored the highest number of points on the Unified State Exam can also apply for scholarships. In addition to the monthly payment, scholarship holders will have the opportunity to practice at enterprises, become TMK ambassadors, and after completing their studies, they will be considered for vacancies in the company.

Therefore, TMK offers young professionals many opportunities to develop their potential, and a corporate scholarship is one of the steps in this direction. It allows talented students to focus on their studies and scientific activities and not be distracted by part-time jobs. In addition, the students are simultaneously getting acquainted with TMK's enterprises and their production processes," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Director of TMK2U Corporate University.
TMK and UrFU have long-standing strategic partnerships. Many projects are being implemented jointly, as well as systematic career guidance work. Within the framework of cooperation with the university, students can participate in the corporate-wide championship of professional skills "Games of Masters", as well as in the youth scientific and practical conference and forum "Horizons". TMK2U regularly initiates job fairs and hackathons at the university, supports the "Career Spring" and "Career Time" projects, trains employees in various UrFU programs, and also organizes the "Engineering Olympus" forum as part of the "I am a Professional" student Olympiad.
