Today, the Russian mining industry needs import-substituted innovations more than ever. Responding to industry requests, leading companies combine their expertise. So, in September 2025, the EVOBLAST Group, a developer of integrated solutions for drilling and blasting operations (BVR), and the GEOMIX IT company announced the beginning of strategic cooperation.
Cross-functional interaction involves the creation of new products and services to improve the effectiveness of BVR, the exchange of knowledge about global trends and the organization of specialized events. This approach will allow partners to quickly respond to current market demands and accelerate the implementation of advanced domestic developments in production processes.
The official signing of the agreement took place on September 9 as part of the XXVII International Scientific and Practical Conference on Mining and Blasting, organized by ANO NOIV in Sochi. The document was signed by Gimiran Utenov, CEO of GEOMIX, and Sergey Mozer, CEO of EVOBLAST Engineering and Director of Strategic Development of the EVOBLAST Group.
EVOBLAST Engineering creates customized integrated solutions in the field of drilling and blasting operations for Russian enterprises. In 2024 alone, more than 10 products were implemented at customer facilities. Many of them are implemented in collaboration with strong technology partners.
GEOMIX is part of the RT-Engineering holding company of ROSTEC State Corporation. The company is a developer of the mining and geological information system (GGIS). GEOMIX is currently developing a new generation of GIS. The first product of the new line is GEOMIX BVR 2.0, an IT solution for drilling and blasting operations.
The new partnership opens up the possibility of effective technology improvement, taking into account the real needs of mining enterprises and the specifics of conducting BVR at facilities.
