PMH produced the largest volume of iron ore concentrate in a month
In May 2026, the KMAruda combine produced the maximum volume of iron ore concentrate in its history – 244.5 thousand tons. The previous record was reached in March of this year. It was possible to increase productivity by automating individual stages of the enrichment process and installing new, more efficient equipment. "As part of the second stage of modernization, a cascade-type screen, hydrocyclone batteries, and high-power pumps were installed at the crushing and processing plant of the combine. The control of magnetite losses, optimization of vacuum filter modes, and unloading of magnetic gravity separators have been automated," said Alexey Lunin, Chief Engineer of the KMAruda Combine. Productivity has also increased due to competent repair planning and improved maintenance quality of the units. An important area of work was the in-house adaptation of the software to the specifics of the technological process.
