In January at the processing plant Lebedinsky GOK (a subsidiary of metalloinvest) was produced by the jubilee ton of iron ore concentrate with Fe content less than 69,5%.
the First ton of this product was received at the plant in November 1972, when he was commissioned 1st start-up complex of the concentrator. Then its capacity allows to process only 7.5 million tons of ore per year.
"today, thanks to close attention of the company "metalloinvest" to system upgrade and overhaul of production equipment, efficiency of mining and processing at the plant several times higher still, – said Oleg Mikhailov, managing Director of Lebedinsky GOK, the Deputy of the Belgorod regional Duma. – This is evidenced by the fact that the production of 50 million tons of concentrate it only took us a couple of years. About the release of 700 million tons we announced in 2017".
Today Lebedinsky GOK produces the volume of concentrate that not only meets the high demand of domestic and foreign consumers for this kind of product, but provides the raw material and the pelletizing plant of the plant. The main competitive advantages of the product is high quality and absence of harmful impurities.
Also, in January Lebedinskii processing plants reported production of 15 million tons of dried concentrate. This product is produced since 2007 in limited quantities to 2 million tons per year in total. The current site for the production of dried concentrate allows the plant to produce dehydrated concentrate in the winter, not corsets during transportation by rail.
