Grant youth competition "EKO-Projector", operates with the support of "Mechel" for two years. Concerned citizens sent to the competition jury of environmental projects. The Commission selects the most urgent and relevant for the region initiative. Their authors will receive cash prizes to the embodiment of the idea, each year approximately thirty nominees.
One of the grantees of the contest – Anna Chernysheva, author of "Cap good". The idea of her project pursues two goals: the resolution of environmental problems and the provision of charity care. The initiative involves the installation of special containers to collect plastic lids, then the organizers of the project are sent for processing to the special points, and the money passed to the charity Fund. To do this, in the Chelyabinsk region Anna has organized more than 30 collection points of plastic lids in different parts of the city. They are located in schools, cultural centres, health clubs, stores, clinics. In the campaign for collection of covers involved the pupils of schools and pupils of kindergartens.
"Derived from rental covers the money going to Fund "the Spark" to help children with cancer. Our project allows residents to participate in charity without the involvement of the personal material resources. Because the plastic cover is not waste, but valuable resource, after processing, it can be recycled. He would not be in the dump, harming the environment and will bring a double benefit. I think every school should have such a container, and this is our goal. Wait for the end of mode isolation, to continue the project," explains Anna Chernysheva.
In January 2020 first street containers appeared on the market Mikheevskiy in the smelting area and near the ice arena "Tractor". Is preparing to accommodate the next batch of containers which has been manufactured to grant CMP, they were put in four schools in the neighborhood "the Park" and in the Metallurgical area.
