MMK develops cooperation with Zagorsk pipe plant

In 2018, the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works supplied ZTZ with 181.5 thousand tons of sheet products from mill 5000. About 1.7 thousand tons more Zagorsk pipe makers received from hot rolling mills 2000 and 2500. For three months of this year, Zagorsk pipe plant from Mill 5000 shipped almost 82 thousand tons of products.

The council was attended by Deputy General Director for Sales Sergei Ushakov, Head of the Sales Department for Russia Alexei Kuzmin, Head of the Department for Marketing and Sales Efficiency Evgeny Sarana, and also the head of the scientific and technical center Andrey Kartunov. The Zagorsk Pipe Plant was represented by the President of ZTZ JSC Galyalhak Safin, General Director Denis Safin, Managing Director Andrey Lyaskovsky, Director for Strategy and Development Andrey Adamchuk and Commercial Director Dmitry Simankov.

The meeting participants discussed the introduction of new technologies at the 5000 MMK mill and the development of new types of steel grades at this unit - corrosion-resistant, alloyed, earthquake-resistant; Expansion of the range of supplied sheet metal products from the 2500 mill; optimization of electronic document management. The issues of the quality of metal products and measures to improve it were discussed.
