On Uchalinskiy GOK launched data transmission system with an underground self-propelled equipment

Uchaly (Republic of Bashkortostan)

JSC "Uchalinskiy GOK" is introduced and put into operation a data transfer system for collecting and processing information on the work of underground mobile equipment in real time. The project was developed and implemented by OOO "UGMK-Telecom", the construction of communications specialists of the company began in December of 2019.

On the horizon Uchalinsky underground mine and mine "Uzelginsky" was laid fiber-optic cable, installed a wireless access point Wi-Fi that reads information from plying the underground equipment. Thus, during the change from the ground are transmitted to different data, from fuel consumption and the oil pressure in the engine up to speed.

"Transmitted by the system of indicators allow us to monitor technical parameters, make timely decisions on the redistribution of equipment to reduce downtime and increase productivity, in the future we plan to conduct a detailed analysis of the efficiency of underground machinery", - said chief engineer of JSC "Uchalinskiy GOK" Ivan Kuraskin.

"the Development of advanced technologies allows the plant to improve production processes, both on surface and in underground conditions. While Wi-Fi is a system used in the mines to collect data with self-propelled machinery, but in the future its scope will be significantly expanded," - said the head of the Department of information and telecommunications of JSC "Uchalinskiy GOK" Fanis baibulatov.

"the Next stage of development of the system – not just the collection of technical data from equipment, but also remote control of appliances. This will not only reduce the downtime during the "shift change", which now is up to 6 hours, but also significantly reduce the risks for miners. It is no secret that working in the mine, people risk their health and lives. Removing the person from the cabin to the surface, can significantly reduce the number of accidents related to falls of rock, - said the head of project management office "UGMK-Telecom" Anton Kondratiev. In company plans - creation of integrated management systems mine. It will truly be a unique development in the entire country. The data network is the first step, "skeleton", which will now grow into subsystems".
