JSC "Uralelectromed" (metallurgical complex of UMMC) has commissioned production building No. 1, shop receipt and processing of raw materials after its reconstruction.
- Launch of the new site has improved organization of work and increase production standards by using embedded principles of lean production. The case is fitted with modern technological equipment, which is the processing of lead, copper raw material and solid waste, - said the head of Department Igor Starkov.
In particular, the production premises with an area of 1728 square meters is equipped with two baling presses, designed for processing of lead waste and MSW, and alligator shears for cutting oversized materials.
Recall that the modernization of the sector started in 2019. The reconstruction was updated in the frame of the building, made of anti-corrosion protection of steel structures, the repair of concrete floors with the application of toppingovoe coating. The shop also put a marking with the marking of pedestrian routes and working areas.

Furthermore, trays mounted storm drain to collect moisture from raw materials during the winter, moved, and organized a new individual heating substation of the building - said the mechanic shop Alexander Ananko.
For the first quarter of this year, the station processed around 1800 tons of non-ferrous scrap and about 23 tons of solid waste (paper, cardboard, polypropylene). Also the power of plot allows to recycle about 5,000 tons of bags of lead waste per year.
