To bachatskiy coal mine of JSC "UK "Kuzbassrazrezugol" (enterprise resource complex UMMC) officially commissioned a new domestic excavator EKG-18M. In honor of the upcoming 300th anniversary of the opening of the Kuzbass, which will be celebrated in 2021, the car has a number 300.
EKG-18M – this is an upgraded model of the excavator production of JSC "Uralmashzavod" (UZTM) – ECG-18, which is now widely used in the mining industry. EKG-18 with serial number 1 was launched in 2011 at the krasnobrodsky coal mine, and today the Company employs already 10 of these machines. The specialists of the coal Companies participated in the finalization of the EKG-18. In the updated version, the serial model takes into account nine years of operating experience of machines in this class at the enterprises UK "Kuzbassrazrezugol".
Quality of changes aimed at improving the reliability, life of the machine and safety of the work touched upon most of the major components, structures and systems of the excavator. The engineers have applied the most modern technical solutions. EKG-18M upgraded the mechanism for opening the bottom of the bucket, which allows to reduce the cycle of discharge in the dump, works to improve the structure of the boom and trolley. The changes affect the body: it improves the integrity, security, created a more comfortable environment for the operator. Set information-diagnostic system, providing reliable control of the nodes and protect the excavator from the operation in the modes of overload. ECG-18M equipped with the system signal lighting, hazardous area Red Kill Zoe, which increases the safety of mining in the dark, and is equipped with CCTV system with two displays, allowing you to simultaneously observe the engine room, working equipment, cable reel and "dead zones" of the excavator. Protection from fires provides automatic fire suppression system for the MAIN Kuzbass production.

Before the end of 2020 Kuzbassrazrezugol plans to purchase four ECG-18M one - on kedrovskiy and kaltanskogo incisions, two more will arrive on the bachatskiy cut.
