PJSC "Nadezhdinsky Metallurgical Plant" (a partner enterprise of UMMC) continues construction of a gas cleaning agglomeration shop. Currently, work is being carried out on all three buildings: the building of the local treatment facilities, the gas treatment complex and the reagent preparation department. The foundation of the gas cleaning section has already been completed, more than 45% of the frame metal structures have been assembled. At the final stage, work on foundations at other sites.
Note that the sintering shop of the Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant was built in 1943. During this time, the unit has carried out four ecological renovations. The fifth, which is being implemented at the moment, is aimed at meeting modern environmental requirements. Selected technology and equipment for wet limestone cleaning of the Polish supplier "AMK Kraków S.A." corresponds to the best available world technologies (gas cleaning efficiency up to 95%), the project was developed with the participation of leading Russian and European scientific institutes.
The sintering shop includes two sintering machines with sintering area of 30 sq.m and 50 sq.m ., the annual production volume is about 530 thousand tons of sinter, used in further processing of the enterprise for the production of iron and steel.
