Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Sverdlovsk Region)
Last weekend, the "Party in the Parking Lot" of the Museum of Automotive Technology gathered about four thousand spectators. Ural residents who came to the event from different cities watched an exhibition of unusual cars and a spectacular drift show.
On Saturday, more than forty tuned cars gathered at the Museum of Automotive Technology: in the same row stood rare Volga and Muscovites, bright Mazda, Lexus, Toyota, etc. In addition to cars, buggies, go-karts, motorcycles and even a tractor were parked near the museum. After the demonstration part, the car drivers began demonstration performances - a drift, in which anyone could become a passenger.
- The event shows that the Museum is not only an exhibition of cars that have gone into the past, but also a part of the modern culture, a center of attraction for car lovers, high speeds, sports and a place for people who are passionate about technology to communicate, - said the specialist of the Museum Complex Oleg Polyakov.
In addition to the entertainment program, the organizers prepared a special educational block for children aimed at observing fire safety and traffic rules: the guys tried on firefighter suits, made announcements on the radio from the traffic police car and got acquainted with features of the special equipment.
At the end of the holiday, the kids and their parents painted a real Zaporozhets in bright colors, turning the car into an art object.
The event was organized at support of the Verkhnaya Pyshma Motorsport Federation, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, and the Ural Motor Sports Association "DRIVE RACING ".
