According to the results of 8 months of 2020, OJSC “BMZ, the management company of the holding“ BMK ”, as part of the diversification of sales, exported to Africa more than 11 million US dollars of rebar. This indicator is almost 20% higher than the level of the same period of the previous year.
In January-August 2020, BMZ sold over 564 thousand tons of fittings, 90% of which were shipped outside Belarus. This year, the plant exported valves to 19 countries of the world for more than $ 200 million. The largest consumers are Russia, Israel, Lithuania, Ukraine and Great Britain. As for the African continent itself, the importers of these products are Senegal, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin and Ghana. By the way, shipments to the last of the listed countries this year in physical terms increased threefold.
According to operational data, for 8 months of 2020 BMZ sold 1.4 million tons of metal products for export to 51 countries. More than 50% of shipments are made in Europe, the share of African countries in the total export of the plant for the specified period exceeds 12 percent.
