Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex) became a prize-winner in the regional competition among industrial companies for the best project for the improvement of the adjacent territory and the territory of the enterprise. In total, more than 40 applications were submitted for the competition.
The expert commission, which included representatives of the Ministry of Industry of the Chelyabinsk region, public associations in the field of industry, as well as the Legislative Assembly of the region, chose three absolute winners: Stankomash, MMK and CZP There were several evaluation criteria: experts paid attention to the state of the external appearance of buildings, lawns and flower beds, the aesthetic state of the adjacent territory.
The award was presented to the director of CZP JSC by the Minister of Industry, Natural Resources and Innovative Technologies of the Chelyabinsk Region Pavel Ryzhiy .

It should be noted that the idea to hold a competition for the improvement of industrial enterprises was born at the zinc plant in December 2019. The Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler appreciated the work carried out at the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant and proposed to organize a competition in order to increase the interest of heads of industrial enterprises in cleaning the territories.
