Discrete production has been introduced at MRK LLC

In LLC “Mechanoremontny complex” (part of the Group of Companies PJSC “MMK”), a corporate information system based on Oracle e-Business Suite v.12 (OeBS) was put into operation in July 2020. To organize production accounting and calculate the cost of production it was decided to use the Oracle "Discrete Manufacturing" module, and the organization of the production program planning process remained in its own, by this time, significantly modernized MRK system called "Scheduler". Channels for information exchange were created between the Planner and the KIS. The main feature of LLC Mechanical Repair Complex is the highest variety of products - 90 thousand piece and unique positions of finished products annually. In the process of preparing for the implementation of the Discrete Manufacturing module, a lot of preparatory work was carried out on the development of regulatory and reference information (NSI) for the position of finished products and semi-finished products, the formation of technological maps and resource specifications in the Oracle system. All work on the establishment of a new nomenclature of RTOs and the development of reference data for it was carried out in the "Planner" system. The use of the new product in conjunction with its own programs provided the functionality for maintaining and forming: - nomenclature of materials, assembly units, services and works; - product specifications and assembly units and flow charts for their manufacture, standard rates of resource consumption for technological operations; - production plans and production tasks included in them; - calculation of the cost of products and services, as well as accounting and tax reporting. Implementation of the discrete production module in conjunction with other modules within the framework of a unified CIS, it has made it possible to organize the complex work of most of the structural subdivisions of RTOs in the common information space. The result of implementation for the enterprise will be a reduction in the operating cycles of important business processes, such as closing the accounting period, the formation of the production plan of the enterprise, etc., as well as an increase in the efficiency of production processes and the competitiveness of the enterprise as a whole.
