Uralelectromed JSC (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex), the audit group of TMS RUS LLC (partner of the TUV NORD Cert certification body) conducted a recertification audit of the energy management (EMS) in order to assess its compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001: 2018.
The audit took place at the main industrial site in Verkhnyaya Pyshma and in the branch "Production of non-ferrous metal alloys" in Verkh-Neyvinsky. In general, the heads and personnel of the divisions showed a high level of professionalism and competence in energy management issues, interest in an objective assessment of the audit.
During the audit, it was demonstrated how the requirements of ISO 50001: 2018 and internal documents in the divisions are being fulfilled. improvement of the achieved energy efficiency indicators, the economic effect of the implementation of measures within the framework of the energy saving program.
Separately, the annual growth in the number of energy saving measures and the effect of them, as well as the involvement of divisions, was positively noted. In addition to the already traditional types of purchased fuel and energy resources: electricity, natural gas and coke, in 2021, the Program includes measures for motor fuel.
At the final meeting, the auditor of TMS RUS LLC Vera Utkina noted significant improvements , thanked for active participation in the audit, highly appreciated its results, confirming the compliance of the energy management system of Uralelectromed JSC with the requirements of the international standard, and gave a conclusion on the issuance of a new certificate.
