MMK received awards in the "Exporter of the Year" competition

Nine companies in the region received diplomas from the Russian Export Center and letters of thanks from the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, including the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, which was represented at the awards ceremony by Oleg Fedonin, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Activity and Sales to Automotive Industry Enterprises of PJSC MMK. “I am glad that these prestigious awards - a symbol of high recognition of your success and contribution to the economy of the Chelyabinsk Region - were received by our enterprises, and by the number of these awards we are one of the leaders in the Ural Federal District and in the country. This year, three of our enterprises won prizes at the federal level, and at the level of the Ural Federal District - 12 prizes. I believe that this is a well-deserved success and a basis for moving forward, ”said the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler.

Being a globally competitive company, MMK successfully operates in many markets. In 2019, the plant's deliveries to non-CIS countries amounted to about 1.256 million tons. Another 1.447 million tons were shipped last year to the CIS countries, the market of which is traditionally one of the priorities for Magnitogorsk along with the domestic Russian one. The plant's products are sent to dozens of countries around the world. The main export markets for MMK are the countries of the Middle East, the Mediterranean Basin and Southeast Asia. In the rating of the largest exporters of the Urals and Western Siberia, MMK Group is consistently among the top three. The high quality of its products, one of the widest product range in the CIS countries, consistent work to improve the sales system and increase the promptness of deliveries helps PJSC MMK maintain its positions in the export markets.

All-Russian prize in the field of international cooperation and export "Exporter of the Year" is awarded to organizations and individual entrepreneurs who have achieved the greatest success in exporting non-resource non-energy goods, works, services, as well as the results of intellectual activity. The award was initiated at the highest level - the National Project "International Cooperation and Export", which was developed in pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024".
