The Izhora Pipe Plant (ITZ, part of the Severstal Russianstal division) has received the status of a qualified supplier of large diameter pipes to the state oil company of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) - ADNOC.
The assortment of large-diameter pipes produced by the Izhora Pipe Mill (LDP) with a diameter of 20-56 inches, strength classes up to X80, with external and internal coating meets the ADNOC requirements and can be used in the company's projects.
“Passing the qualification will allow us to expand our presence in the Gulf countries and participate in projects in the highly competitive market of the United Arab Emirates. According to our forecasts, the volume of consumption of ADNOC pipe products can reach about 250 thousand tons per year, including large-diameter pipes for transporting oil with a high hydrogen sulfide content, "said Alexander Semyonov, Sales Director for energy companies of Severstal.
