At the JSC "MC" Kuzbassrazrezugol "(an enterprise of the raw materials complex of UMMC), eight more hardware and software electronic complexes for medical examinations (ESMO, manufactured in Moscow) were put into operation. Now, all the company's coal mining enterprises are equipped with this electronic inspection system - 22 complexes are currently operating at six open-pit mines and the Baikimskaya mine.
The introduction of ESMO at the Kuzbassrazrezugol Management Company began in 2017 with the Kedrovsky open-pit mine, first in a test mode. The system allows you to quickly and objectively conduct mass pre-shift medical examinations of employees. With the help of one complex, it is possible to simultaneously examine five people within 1-2 minutes. ESMO automatically, without the participation of a health worker, measures body temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and also conducts a test for alcohol.
With the launch of ESMO at all enterprises of the company, we are moving to a qualitatively new stage in protecting the health of our employees - we translate it “into digital”, - says Vitaly Latokhin, deputy director of JSC “MC“ Kuzbassrazrezugol ”for ecology, industrial safety and land use. “The result of the introduction of this technology will be an increase in the level of safety at work and the health of miners, and the most important thing is for people to leave for work and return home healthy.”
In 2021, Kuzbassrazrezugol plans to purchase five more ESMO complexes .
