The equipment park of the mechanical repair shop of the branch "Production of non-ferrous metals" JSC "Uralelectromed" was replenished with a new plasma cutting unit.
The purchase of equipment was dictated by production needs: over the past year, the plan for the number and tonnage of products has grown significantly. The plasma installation will produce blanks of complex configuration, and this, in turn, will increase the efficiency of assembly of metal structures.
The new installation is equipped with a powerful inverter, five gas cutters and one plasma cutter. The machine will cut five identical parts up to 50 mm thick at a time. The machine control system is automated. On the touch screen of the monitor, you can easily adjust the parameters, which allows you to make the cutting process continuous. In addition, the plasma machine has a moving structure with a comfortable seat and protective glass.
Plasma workers have received special training provided by the equipment supplier.
