As a result of the modernization of the roasting machines, MGOK increased the volume of pellets production, expanded their range and taking into account the individual needs of consumers, - commented Rinat Ismagilov. - The commissioned laboratory for determining the metallurgical properties of iron ore products will make production even more flexible to the requirements of the world market. A similar project has already been implemented at the Lebedinsky Combine. Due to the capabilities of the new laboratories, our capabilities for the development of new types of iron ore raw materials for ferrous metallurgy have been greatly expanded. Mikhailovsky GOK has mastered the production technology of DR-grade pellets, which will allow Metalloinvest to enter the world league of leaders in terms of the quality of iron ore raw materials, along with Vale and LKAB.
