From 24 to 28 May, one of the key cross-industrial events in the context of the Year of science and Technology – the exhibition "Metalworking-2021" - will take place on the territory of Expocentre Fairgrounds. This year, the event, organized by Expocentre JSC with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Union of Machine Builders of Russia, the Federation Council of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, will be held for the 21st time, serving as a platform for the exchange of experience and presentation of advanced solutions for about 700 companies from 27 countries.
Thus, on a total area of 30,000 square meters, a significant part of which will be allocated to the national expositions of Germany, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Belarus, as well as an extensive collective exhibition of Italy, new companies and organizations will gather to present their achievements, as well as permanent participants - the largest Russian and world machine tool enterprises and their customers.
Among the Russian companies, for example, this year there will be such well-known enterprises as LLC "STAN", JSC "Sasta", LLC "NPP Machine Tool Plant Tulamash", "NPK Morsvyazavtomatika", JSC "Stankoprom" and many others, while among the foreign companies, which are expected to be more than 200, will be represented such as: Galika AG, Mitsubishi Electric Europe B. V., Mazak, Salvagnini Italia SPA, AMADA, Hermle WWE AG, Horn, Hoffman Professional Tools, Trumpf, etc.
Such a significant number of major players in the global industrial market allows the exhibition to remain in the top ten of the leading international national industrial forums for several years, bringing together advanced innovations from world manufacturers from related industries. So this year's event goes beyond the presentation of exclusively traditional areas for the metalworking industry, focusing on sections dedicated to equipment and technologies for automation and robotization of production, industrial 3D printing, welding and related technologies, as well as advanced additive solutions.
In addition, the central exhibition complex "EXPOCENTRE", with the support of the National Union of Suppliers of Equipment and Tools for Metalworking, this year for the first time will organize the section "Industry 4.0" and hold a conference of the same name. The new section will present advanced developments of participants in the field of modeling and visualization, cybersecurity, augmented and virtual reality, and much more.
As for the business program, the key among the planned events will be the 4-day International Conference on Additive Technologies and 3D Solutions-"3D Industry", organized with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and Webconf.
In addition, the exhibition program will include the conferences "Technologies and equipment of domestic machine tool construction for technical re-equipment of machine-building enterprises in Russia", the forum "Prospects and mechanisms for implementing the strategy for the development of the machine tool industry" , etc.
"Technology is constantly evolving, and digitalization, robotization, and automation cover more and more processes, enterprises, and, in general, industries every day. Mechanical engineering is no exception, because where, if not in production, are there such extensive opportunities for the use of" deserted " technologies? Realizing this, we focused on the relevant sections of the exhibition and the events of the business program, attracting an increasing number of corporations, companies and young startups whose activities are related to the development and implementation of additive technologies, automation solutions, robotics, etc.We can say that this year's exhibition will serve as a platform for the exchange of experience between players of related industrial industries from around the world," comments Irina Levyakova, Project Manager, Heavy Industry Exhibitions Directorate of Expocentre JSC.
