Sandvik Coromant, an expert in cutting tools and tooling systems, took part in the DMG MORI in-house exhibition at the machine tool leader's training center from 24 to 28 May.
In addition to presenting its tooling solutions and the latest developments in plant automation, Sandvik Coromant took part in the announcement of the annual CNC MASTERS 2.0 team competition.
CNC MASTERS 2.0 is an annual team competition of the DMG MORI Academy, the official partner of the Worldskills Russia Union, which is traditionally held in two nominations: for the best creative project for turning and milling on CNC machines manufactured by DMG MORI and the best creative project for universal machines.
The winning teams in the CNC MASTERS 2021 competition and special nominations were notified in advance and invited to the official awards ceremony, which took place on May 27.
So, the 1st place in the competition was taken by the Gryazinsky Technical College, the 2nd place was taken by the higher educational institution of the FSBEI Kuzbass State Technical University named after T. F. Gorbachev ", and the third went to the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education" Siberian State University of Science and Technology. Academician M.F. Reshetnev ".
The first three winning schools will have the chance to visit the DMG MORI factory and Academy in Germany, as well as local specialized schools. The wide range of prizes includes various certificates from partners of the event, including those for equipping the machine with Sandvik Coromant tools.
