“We We are proud of our long-term friendship with the Tretyakov Gallery and projects implemented jointly with Alisher Usmanov's Art, Science and Sport Foundation in the regions where the Company operates, ”said Yulia Mazanova, Deputy CEO for Sustainable Development and Corporate Communications of Metalloinvest. - Support for Yuri Pimenov's exhibition is a landmark project for Metalloinvest. We are convinced that supporting culture and creating a creative atmosphere are important for the development of technology, industrial growth and improving the quality of life in general.
The artist's work is close and consonant with the philosophy of the Company. Yuri Pimenov kept up with the times and in many ways was ahead of him, was open to new things, he was interested in the character of an individual person. Our industry is actively changing today, and Metalloinvest strives to be at the forefront of the development of new technologies aimed at improving the global environmental friendliness of production, in the center of which people remain. "
" The Tretyakov Gallery for the first time presents a complete collection of works by the unique artist Yuri Pimenov. which most accurately and sharply reflected the 20s, 30s and further 50-60s, which in itself is phenomenal, - said the General Director of the Tretyakov Gallery, Zelfira Tregulova. - In the paintings of Yuri Pimenov, we observe the evolution of the spirit of the times. His work is characterized by a radical transition from one concept to another. He portrayed that human, personal, individual that was in the attitude of young people of that time.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to Metalloinvest, our longtime partner, for supporting this project. The Kursk Picture Gallery named after V.I. A.A. Deineka, in which together with Metalloinvest we have held more than one exhibition from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery. ”
