UMMC-OCM becomes the leader of the Russian non-ferrous steel market

The share of UMMC-OTSM in the Russian non-ferrous steel market has grown from 35% to 44%. These are the results of the company's work in the first half of 2019. Compared to the same period last year, the Kirov OCM plant increased the output of brass rods and sheets, copper strips and tires by 18%, and the Revda OCM plant increased the production of copper, brass and copper-nickel pipes by 38%. “These indicators were achieved due to the optimal using the technological capabilities of our enterprises, which are actively modernizing their production. Competent marketing and sales activities are also important. We are focused on supplying high-quality products of a wide range of products, ”says Tatiana Kuchina, Sales and Marketing Director. The company's specialists also note that cooperation with dealers and distributors of UMMC-OCM is also of great importance in the successful sale of products. Note that in the first half of 2019, the Kirovsky OCM plant and the Revdinsky OCM plant took the first and third positions respectively in the rating of the best manufacturers and traders of non-ferrous metal products, compiled by the specialized magazine "Metal Supply and Sales" (No. 7-8 /2019) based on a comprehensive analysis of the companies' activities.
