In the first six months of 2019, the enterprises of JSC MC Kuzbassrazrezugol (an enterprise of the UGMK raw materials complex) produced 22.9 million tons of coal, including 2.8 million tons of coking coal. Taking into account the market dynamics, Kuzbassrazrezugol Management Company carried out an internal rotational rotation of production, reducing the production of some common brands of thermal coal in favor of more valuable ones. The total production volume of the Company in January-June 2019 has been maintained at the planned level.
The volume of stripping amounted to 189 million m 3 . This is almost 10% higher than the indicators of the same period last year.
More than 20 million tons of products were delivered to consumers - 101% of the planned indicators of the half-year. Due to the unfavorable situation in the coal market, the Company adjusted the proportions of external and internal supplies, increasing the share of exports. For six months, 14.3 million tons of products were shipped to foreign consumers, which is 1.4 million tons (10.8%) higher than the originally planned volumes. Domestic supplies amounted to 5.7 million tons. This is 1.2 million tons (17.4%) less than planned.
Over 20.9 million tons of coal have been processed at the coal company's concentrators and installations in the six months of 2019. The indicator is higher than the planned volumes by 1.3 million tons (6.6%). The share of processed coal in the first half of the year amounted to 91.3% of the total production.
