Oskol Electrometallurgical Plant named after A.A. Ugarova (part of Metalloinvest) confirmed the company's compliance with international norms and standards in the field of sustainable development. The social responsibility audit of the supplier was carried out at the request of the STELLANTIS GROUP, the European business partner of OEMK.
During their visit to the enterprise, the auditors of SGS (SGS Vostok Limited JSC) got acquainted with the system operating at the plant quality management, assessed the activities implemented at the plant in the field of labor protection and industrial safety, OEMK's environmental program and the level of investments in environmental protection, checked the availability and compliance with international standards of permits in the field of environmental protection.
To study working conditions, compliance with internal labor regulations and employment contracts, the auditors conducted sample interviews with employees. The collective agreement, the code of corporate ethics, the policy of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, and the human rights policy were carefully analyzed.
