The team of the enterprise, which numbers more than 9 thousand people, approached the important date with high production indicators. For four and a half decades, the plant produced: 108 million tons of oxidized pellets, 71 million tons of metallized pellets, 80 million tons of steel, 55 million tons of rolled mill-700 and 11 million tons of rolled mill-350

OEMK is able to produce steel with a narrow range of chemical elements and low content of harmful impurities, increased strength and ductility. Such indicators are achieved due to the use of pure primary charge - metallized pellets in steel smelting.
The main consumers of OEMK steel products are enterprises of the automotive, machine-building, pipe, hardware and bearing industries. In Russia, the largest partners of the plant are AVTOVAZ, KAMAZ, Severstal-Metiz, MMK-Metiz, Ural Spring Plant, Pervouralsk Novotrubny Plant, Belebeyevsky Avtonormal Plant, European Bearing Corporation, Izhora Pipe Rolling Plant and other companies.
Oskol metal products are exported to Germany, France, Poland, Slovakia, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Egypt and many other countries. OEMK long products are used by the world's leading auto concerns: Volkswagen, Renault-Nissan, Groupe PSA, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, supplied to bearing and component manufacturers SKF and Schaeffler.
Metalloinvest is actively developing OEMK's production capacity to strengthen its market position high-quality rolled steel, expanding the range of products, attracting new customers.
Metalloinvest's largest investment project at OEMK was the launch in 2010 of a rolled metal finishing shop (CCM) with a capacity of 300,000 tonnes of round steel per year, making the mill a leading Russian manufacturer SBQ (Special Bar Quality, high-quality bar products). In 2017, a reduction and sizing unit (RSC) was launched in the medium-bar line of rolling mill-350, which ensures high accuracy of geometric dimensions (diameter tolerances, ovality) of each steel billet.
A comprehensive program to improve customer-oriented spines and SBQ qualities. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to increase sales of SBQ products by ̴300 thousand tons per year in 2020 against the level of 2016.
In 2018, the plant commissioned a warehouse for finished products and a water descaling unit from billets at mill 350 , technical re-equipment of 5 and 6 circuits of cooling water circulation in the ESPC was carried out to ensure the simultaneous operation of five continuous casting machines (CCM).
Construction of a section for heat treatment of hot-rolled steel with a capacity of 70 thousand tons per year is underway, projects are being implemented on technical re-equipment of CCM No. 3, construction of a ball rolling mill and others. In addition, the construction of a new electric arc furnace and mill-150/250 is under consideration.
650 workers of the plant will be awarded state, departmental, regional and corporate awards for significant production indicators.
