During the welcoming meeting with representatives of the investment community, PJSC MMK CEO Pavel Shilyaev spoke about the main aspects of the company's updated development strategy and key investment projects of the MMK Group - first of all, the large-scale technical re-equipment of the sinter-coke-blast furnace processing, thanks to which the plant will drastically reduce the technogenic load on the environment. Pavel Shilyaev also presented to analysts and investors other strategic initiatives of PJSC MMK related to improving operational and functional efficiency, expanding customer-oriented services and digital transformation of the company.
As part of a two-day visit to MMK, analysts and investors visited the industrial site of the plant ... The guests saw with their own eyes the newest rolling complexes of Magnitka: plate mill 5000, complex mill 2000 for cold rolling, two-stand reversing mill 1700. Representatives of the investment community also visited the most modern sinter plant in Russia, equipped with environmental facilities corresponding to the best available technologies, and blast furnace No. 6 ... During the study tour, much attention was paid to issues of digitalization at MMK. In particular, analysts and investors appreciated the machine vision technologies used in the by-product coke industry and got acquainted with the work of the Data Processing Center and the Central Dispatching Office of PJSC MMK.
In addition, the guests took a tour of the new production facilities of the MMK-METIZ Magnitogorsk hardware and calibration plant, which is part of the MMK Group, where a large-scale modernization of production has been carried out in recent years.
