According to the OP "Ukrmetallurgprom" for 10 months of the 2019 domestic consumers delivered $ 3 million 832,4 thousand tons of rolled metal, of which 1 million 217,4 thousand tons, or 31.8 per cent, of import. Over the same period in 2018, the domestic market consumed 4 million 301,1 thousand tons, of which 1 million 217,1 thousand tons, or 28.3%, were imported. Thus, for 10 months of 2019 the reduction in the consumption of rolled products in the domestic market compared to January-October of 2018 was 10.9%, the share of imports slightly increased (+3,5%).
According to the Association, in January – October 2019 Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises produced 15,54 million tons of rolled steel, which is 1.2% more compared to the same period in 2018, of which, according to OOO "ETR-Spectrum", the exported order of 12.92 million tons, or 83.2 per cent. In the same period in 2018 the share of exports was 79.9% or 12,28 million tons with the total production of rolled metal of 15.36 million tons.
the share of semi-finished products export of steel for 10 months of 2019 had 47,02%, which exceeds the figure of January-October 2018 (43,57%). The proportion of flat rolled export for 10 months a little lower than the same period in 2018 (of 33.45% and of 34.99%, respectively), the share of long products in the supply of foreign markets for the first 10 months of 2019 also slightly lower than in the same period of 2018 (19,53% and 21,44%).
