It is noted that other US duties were already announced on steel, aluminum, cars, so in this case the White House decided not to take additional measures.

The corresponding duties will not affect copper, pharmaceutical products, semiconductors and lumber products, against which the United States is expected to impose separate duties soon.
The White House, for its part, explained that the minimum amount of the corresponding duties (10%) will begin to operate on April 5, and the highest duties - on April 9.
