Klöckner & Co., a German manufacturer and distributor of steel and non-ferrous metals, announced its financial results for the third quarter and the period from January to September of this year.
In the third quarter, the company recorded a net loss of 13 million euros, compared with a net loss of 29 million euros in the same quarter of 2024, while sales revenue totaled 1.61 billion euros, a decrease of 2.2% year-on-year due to lower average prices. In addition, Klöckner's EBITDA for the third quarter was 36 million euros, compared with 13 million euros for the same quarter last year.
.In the reporting quarter, the company's steel shipments increased by two percent from 1.12 million tons recorded in the third quarter of 2024 to 1.14 million tons.
In the first nine months of this year, Klöckner's net loss was 38 million euros, compared with 85 million euros in the same period last year, and sales revenue increased 1.5 percent year-on-year to 3.48 billion euros. In addition, the company's EBITDA for the first six months of this year amounted to 117 million euros, compared with 93 million euros in January-September 2024.
