The survey also showed that the largest share of contractors, pending the transition to renewable energy sources, is expected in 2016.

a Survey of Aberdeen and Grampian chamber of Commerce (AGCC) conducted in partnership with the Fraser Institute of Allander and auditors KPMG. The survey involved 90 companies employing more than 55,000 people.
More than half (52%) of respondents reported growing demand for their goods and services in oil and gas projects, and another 25% said that they "actively seeking" employment outside of oil and gas. Only 11% said they are not planning further diversification.

"it is Clear that in the future energy mix will be much more diverse, and for our existing supply chain is a huge opportunity to start diversification into new markets and sectors".
