President of the United States Donald trump 6 April 2020 signed an Executive order supporting commercial exploitation of resources on the moon and other celestial bodies, directing the U.S. administration to oppose any attempts to consider outer space as the common heritage of mankind.

The Russian space Agency has accused trump of the creation of the basis for seizure of territories on other planets

the Russian space Agency Roscosmos accused U.S. President Donald trump to create the foundations for the seizure of territories of other planets, commenting on the order, defining US policy in the area of commercial mining of minerals in outer space.

Available, which, according to Roscosmos, caused damage to international cooperation in space was signed on Monday.

the Agency said the United States will seek to conclude a "joint statements and bilateral and multilateral agreements with foreign countries regarding the safe and sustainable recovery operations and the use of space resources in the public and private sectors."

it says that US citizens should have the right to participate in such activities, and that "outer space is legally and physically unique area of human activity, and the United States does not consider it as a global treasure."

Roscosmos said that trump has put the US at odds with the concept of space belonging to all mankind.

"Attempts expropriation of space and aggressive plans for the actual seizure of territories of other planets hardly set the country on a fruitful cooperation", - said in a statement.

Relations between Russia and the United States are at a low after the end of the cold war, but cooperation in space is continuing despite the many differences all around, from Ukraine to accusations of meddling in the election.

Press Secretary of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov told reporters that "any attempt of privatization of space in one form or another - and now it's hard to say, could this be considered as an attempt of privatization of the space would be unacceptable".
