At the pellet production workshop No.2 of Metinvest's Northern GOK, the replacement of gas treatment facilities is continued.
A large-scale environmental project is being implemented with the aim of reducing emissions during the production of pellets in accordance with the environmental legislation of Ukraine - no more than 50 mg /m³.
Construction work is currently taking place in the drying and heating zone of the LURGI 552 A. roasting machine. The fourth electrostatic precipitator of the Czech company ZVVZ-Enven Engineering is being installed here. In conditions of dense construction of buildings, the equipment is mounted using the largest crane in Ukraine in terms of lifting capacity and boom reach Liebherr 550 HC 20.
Investments in the project in 2020 amount to UAH 340 million.
