Today the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko met with the leaders of trade unions and workers of coal mining enterprises.
“There are pressing issues that need to be addressed urgently - of course, this is the issue of wages. What I promised - I did. Today the issue of this year's debt will be closed, "the head of the sectoral ministry said.
He noted that the Ministry of Energy is open to constant dialogue with representatives of the coal industry, necessary to discuss problems and develop effective solutions, and systematically works to solve problems that have been accumulating in the industry over the years.
“I don't want the ministry to be separate from the industry. I want the ministry to be a platform for discussing all the problems of the industry, and not just when pressing issues arise. We are always open to dialogue and discussion of transformation concepts. The ministry is on your side. But for this we need to develop mechanisms of constant normal communication ", - said Herman Galushchenko.
The Minister invited representatives of the miners' trade unions to the ministry to discuss the problems of the industry.
Last week, 237.3 million hryvnias were transferred to the accounts of coal mining enterprises. Today, another 836.5 million hryvnia should be received to pay wage arrears for the current year, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.
