Free access to data on special permits for the use of subsoil was opened in Ukraine

The State Service of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine has opened data on all valid special permits for the use of subsoil in the country. Information posted on the State Geological Portal of SNPP "Geoinform of Ukraine". This type of data storage allows you to process, sort, copy without restrictions on further use.

The register contains full information about the licensed objects: type of mineral, registration number, type of subsoil use, name of the accounting object, date of issue, validity period of the permit, name of the subsoil user company and EDRPOU code.

“The disclosure of data takes place within the framework of the open door policy in the field of subsoil use, proclaimed by the government. The aim is to provide access to complete and up-to-date information. From now on, everyone will be able to use the information for a comprehensive analysis, copying or printing, etc., because information about special permissions is combined in one file and presented in xlsx format. The data will be updated weekly, ”said the head of the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine.

He clarified that this is the first step in opening data, and soon a comprehensive report will be published, which will also contain information on taxes paid, beneficial owners of special permits for the use of subsoil, and the like.

The portal also contains the contours of special permits for the use of subsoil in each of the regions of Ukraine in the form of an interactive map. It presents statistics on the trend in the issuance of special permits over the years, the ratio of the number of special permits for various types of subsoil use, information on obtaining permits - without holding an auction or through it.

“Placement of all databases and registers necessary for a subsoil user on a single convenient resource is our goal. All information is created in the form of geospatial data, which makes it easy to access it. The data is constantly updated, updated on the GIS server, "said Roman Opimakh.
