Photo: news.astr.ruThe resident of the Astrakhan SEZ Lotos, KIT Lotos Shipbuilding— will launch a plant for the production of ship components in 2029. According to the Minister of Industry of the region Vitaly Shchepin, design will take place in 2026-2027, then construction will begin. It is planned to reach full capacity by 2033.
The volume of investments in the project is estimated at 2.3 billion rubles, and more than 150 jobs will be created. The company will focus on high-tech components: power plants, pumps, loading facilities. At the first stage, the production of engines will be launched, and in the future they plan to build vessels of the river-sea class.
