Measures of state support for demand in the automotive industry, expanded in 2020 amid the pandemic, stimulated the sale of every fourth car of "AvtoVAZ ".
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this year 16.4 billion rubles of subsidies were allocated for preferential car loans in the Russian Federation, 11.3 billion rubles for preferential leasing, and about 400 million rubles more - to stimulate sales of gas engine equipment.
"AvtoVAZ " became the main addressee of these measures - 64.5 thousand Lada cars were sold in January-October within the framework of state programs.
Since the beginning of the year "AvtoVAZ " has sold 273.5 thousand cars in total, having installed in October monthly sales record for six years amid deferred demand for cars - 37 thousand vehicles (+ 22.5% y /y). For 10 months of this year, the company's sales for Lada models, excluding Niva, decreased by 10.4% in annual terms.
All Lada models are subject to concessional lending programs.
