“The overall growth in car sales in the Russian market in the first half of the year is 37% compared to the first half of 2020. For the remainder of the year, sales will be highly dependent on supply capabilities due to the current global shortage of electronic components. We also see some uncertainty about consumer demand in Q4, in which we would welcome renewed government support measures. In general, we believe that the results of the year may be even higher than the projected growth of 10% relative to 2020 - the market may exceed 1.8 million vehicles, ”said Nicolas Mor, President of AVTOVAZ JSC.
