The implementation of a large-scale reconstruction of the gas cleaning systems of the Mariupol metallurgical plant Azovstal of the Metinvest Group continues, aimed at reducing the environmental load.
According to the press service of the plant, the technical project was developed by Primetals Technologies Austria GmbH, which supplies all the necessary equipment for its implementation. General contractor - MetinvestEngineering.
Within the framework of the project, specialists have already completed the refurbishment of steam converter No. 2 and the transfer of the power stage. Repaired steam converter No. 3, evaporator I-600 and deaerators No. 1-2. During the repair of steam accumulators No. 4-6, the thermal insulation, diffuser pipes and nozzles of the distributing header, louvered separation were dismantled.
At the construction site, in parallel with the supply of the necessary equipment, a large-scale assembly of metal structures is being carried out. Completion of work is scheduled for 2022.
