The Italian low-cost airline Ernest Airlines intends to establish flights between Mariupol and Italian resorts. The agency "Interfax-Ukraine " was informed about it in the press service of the airline.
"Since the Ukrainian government pays a lot of attention to the aviation sector and infrastructure development, we should soon land in Zaporozhye, where the airport infrastructure was restored, and then in Mariupol. This is the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as the city of Dnipro, " - said Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Davide La Cecilia during a press conference on the occasion of the opening of Ernest Airlines office in Kiev.
The Ambassador also noted the great popularity of Italian destinations among Ukrainian air passengers.
Flights from Milan to Odessa will start on December 18. Later, flights Venice - Kiev, Bologna - Lviv, Bari - Kiev and Trieste - Kiev will be launched, said Ernest Airlines Chairman of the Board Shadi El Tannir.
