DTEK Energy machine builders delivered the RH110 roadheader to the Zapadno-Donbasskaya mine, which became the second for the mine and the third of the new line, the production of which began last year.
“The third RH110 machine is with modernized equipment, improved based on an analysis of the operation of the first two machines. The equipment was specially designed for the Zapadno-Donbasskaya mine, taking into account all the customer’s wishes,” the machine-building Corum Group reports on its Facebook page.
The combine, in particular, is equipped with new quick-release mounting platforms designed to increase the speed of arch fastening. They increase safety and increase the efficiency of the equipment.
As reported, the RH110 combine differs from its predecessors in its improved and enlarged design of the executive body. Its weight is almost 55 tons - 20% more than previous models, and the electro-hydraulic part is made using components from leading European manufacturers.
DTEK Energy provides a closed cycle for the production of electricity from coal. The installed capacity in thermal electricity generation as of January 2022 amounted to 13.3 GW. A full production cycle has been created in coal mining: coal mining and beneficiation, mechanical engineering and servicing of mine equipment.
