Indian steel group Tata Steel plans to cut 1,000 jobs in the UK, explaining layoffs to combat the crisis affecting the steel producers around the world.

Earlier this month, Tata Steel said it plans to cut about 3,000 jobs in Europe within the framework of initiatives to reduce costs. In the Netherlands the planned elimination of up to 1,600 jobs.
