From 11 to 12 March, the National accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU) has conducted at PJSC "Energomashspetsstal" the annual compliance audit of the Central laboratory. Audit verified the compliance activities of Central plant laboratory of PJSC "EMSS" has been updated to the requirements of DSTU ISO/IEC 17025 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" edition 2017 in the field of chemical, physico-chemical, mechanical, metallographic and non-destructive testing at the international level. During the audit criticisms have been identified.
laboratory Audit was conducted in accordance with the approved plan. In the composition of the audit team included the head of group audit leading specialist of the Department of supervision of laboratories accredited by NAAU Sergey Pustovalov and the expert auditor of NAAU Nicholas Charlo. The curator of the verification of EMSS were the head of Central plant laboratory of PJSC "EMSS" Igor Ratnikov.
Experts checked the management system of the laboratory, competence of personnel, testing conditions, assessment methods, measurements, and also how well and efficiently these tests are performed.
the audit Commission noted the high level of equipment of Central laboratory, professional and technical personnel training, serious financial and regulatory framework sufficient for testing.
Among the positive aspects of auditors was selected:
- documentation of the management system demonstrates compliance with the requirements of the standard and provides the necessary structure to implement and maintain a management system of the lab according to DSTU ISO/IEC 17025:2017;
- declared in the scope of accreditation of the methods of testing performed in accordance with established guidelines, monitoring of the quality of testing, test reports issued in accordance with the established in the laboratory quality management system.
According to the results of the audit, NAAU will make a decision about compliance of activities of the Central laboratory of EMSS with the requirements of DSTU ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the declared field of accreditation, which provides recognition of test results on international level.
