PJSC "Energomashspetsstal" has successfully passed the recertification audit of the environmental management system (EMS) for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001. The results of the work done were evaluated by experts from QSCert-Ukraine B.V. The audit plan was completed in full as planned.
The audit was conducted in accordance with ISO 14001: 2015 "Environmental Management Systems". From June 8 to June 10, the specialists of QSCert-Ukraine B.V. studied the documentation and production processes in PJSC "EMSS", conducted interviews with managers and ordinary employees of departments.
During the audit, environmental aspects and risks were assessed, the implementation of goals and objectives arising from the company's Environmental Policy and the Environmental Protection Program, compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements and procedures.
As a result, the experts noted the high level of awareness and involvement of the plant workers in solving the problems of ensuring product quality, environmental and industrial safety, as well as the continuous development of the enterprise.
Specialists of QSCert-Ukraine B.V. expressed their gratitude to the management of the enterprise, employees of the environmental department and the personnel involved in the audit for the openness and timely provision of all the necessary documents.
At the final meeting, the chief auditor of the certification body QSCert-Ukraine B.V. Vyacheslav Berestovoy noted: "The EMSS environmental management system meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001 and is recommended for certification for the next three years."
The presence of such a certificate confirms that PJSC Energomashspetsstal effectively operates an environmental management system aimed at rational use of natural resources and minimizing negative impact on the environment.
The environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001 has been operating at PJSC EMSS since 2010. The annual supervisory audit is provided for by the requirements of international standards and is a guarantee of the successful operation of the enterprise. This recertification audit has once again confirmed the high level of compliance of EMS of PJSC EMSS with the requirements of the international standard for the environmental management system ISO 14001.
