The Zaporizhstal metallurgical plant has mastered the production of eight new types of hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel this year.
“In 2020, we focused on the discipline of fulfilling orders and improving work with customers, according to which the main focus is to improve product quality and manufacture new types, at the request of the consumer. We will not stop at what has been achieved in 2021: Zaporizhstal plans to master the production of seven more new types of products ", - said Alexander Mironenko, General Director of Zaporizhstal.
In 2020, the plant continued to improve the quality characteristics of the mastered DX51D cold-rolled coils for galvanizing at Unisteel, as well as roll-formed sections. The plant has mastered the production of DC01 cold-rolled coils for the Marcegaglia group (Great Britain) in full compliance with the requirements of European quality standards.
In total, in 2020 Zaporizhstal shipped 20 thousand tons of new products. It is expected that Zaporizhstal rolled steel will be used in the construction industry, mechanical engineering, and the household sector.
