The Zaporizhstal Metallurgical Plant of the Metinvest Group of Rinat Akhmetov and Vadim Novinsky has expanded the range of hot-rolled products. The enterprise, ordered by Sahathai Steel Pipe Public Company Limited (Thailand), has mastered the production of hot-rolled coils, which have increased strength characteristics due to microalloying with boron.
The new products meet the high requirements of international standards and will be used in the production of steel pipes. All the necessary tests for compliance with the requirements of the standards were carried out in the plant's own accredited laboratory. The high quality of the products has also been confirmed by the customer Sahathai Steel Pipe Public Company Limited (Thailand).
Let us remind you that in 2020 Zaporizhstal mastered the production of eight new types of products. In addition, the plant continues to improve the quality characteristics of the mastered DX51D cold-rolled coils for galvanizing at Unisteel, as well as roll-formed sections. The plant has mastered the production of DC01 cold-rolled coils for the Marcegaglia group (Great Britain) in full compliance with the requirements of European quality standards.
