Zaporizhstal Metallurgical Plant expanded its product portfolio in 2021 by mastering the production of hot-rolled coil with boron microalloying, as well as hot-rolled coil with a new lentil corrugation in sizes 3.0-3.9 x 1050-1250 mm.
Zaporizhstal's product range has been replenished with hot-rolled coils of grades SAE 1006, DD11 and ASTM A36. The production of cold-rolled coils from customer-supplied billets of steel grade DC01 with a width of 1500 mm with a cut edge has been mastered, and the size range of cold-rolled coils of grade DC01 has been expanded.
In total, more than 17 thousand tons of new types of hot-rolled and cold-rolled coils were shipped to customers over the year. It is expected that the new products of Zaporizhstal will be used in the construction industry, mechanical engineering, the pipe industry and the domestic sector.

Most of the new products in 2021 were mastered in the segment of thick plates and hot-rolled coils. Also new items appeared in the categories of steel semi-finished products, cold-rolled coil, long products and galvanized coil.
