The Kharkov company "Biolek", which is one of the leaders of the pharmaceutical industry in Ukraine and has sufficient production capacity and qualified personnel for the production of vaccines against COVID-19, applied to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health with an application for state registration of a medical product - Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine to ensure vaccination of Ukrainian citizens.

The transfer of a cell line for the production of the Sputnik V vaccine from Russia to Ukraine can be carried out in two weeks, and its production will take three to six months,

Such a transfer can be carried out within two weeks, and the production of a vaccine can be organized within three to six months, "Medvedchuk noted.
